Pre-Inspect. Through pre-inspection, condition and documentation of each rug– we look for fading, discoloration, stains, wear, pre-existing damage, and if any odors. We determine the clean ability for each rug
Color Fastness. Each rug will be tested for color fastness to determine the potential for dye migration and to better determine the appropriate cleaning process.
Pre-Clean. Traffic and heavily soiled areas. (Discoloration due to wear, fading, or chemical reactions are not reversible.)
Pre-Treat. Spots, spills and stains using the most advanced spotting techniques.
Dusting. Dust and particulate matter lying deep within the rug are removed using specially designed tools. Foot traffic and dry soil can act like sandpaper on the fiber, and this step is often referred to as "dusting" of the rug. Vacuuming, shaking, or beating is not nearly as effective.
Submersion Cleaning. Agitate, Dissolve, Suspend and Extract the ground in soils.
Rinse. To further remove soil and cleaning residue (to restore the natural feel).
Restore. The nap with special grooming tools.
Dry. The rugs are hung on special drying racks. Drying time is less then 24 hours.
